Updated Interior
The Silverado introduces a new dash layout that centers a larger 13.4-inch touchscreen which is standard on the LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, ZR2, and High Country along with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that is standard on the LT models and higher. The 13.4-inch infotainment system features built-in Google Play, Google Assistant, and Google Maps. An electronic transmission range selector is now mounted to the center console as well. The selector allows you to put a range on the gears available in your automatic transmission.

The 2022 Chevy Silverado comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist which features six advanced safety and driver-assist features developed to give you peace of mind on the journey ahead. Performance
Four engine options are available for the Silverado, all of which are RWD or 4WD. A 2.7-liter turbo-four has a horsepower of 310 with 4220-lb of torque and comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 5.3-liter V-8 pushes out 355 horsepower with 383 lb-ft of torque and has a 10-speed automatic transmission. Then there’s the 6.2-liter V-8 engine has 420 horsepower with 460 lb-ft of torque and uses a 10-speed automatic transmission. Finally, the 3.0-liter I-6 turbodiesel has 277 horsepower with 460 lb-ft of torque and uses a 10-speed automatic transmission. With the 6.2-liter V-8 and turbodiesel, a towing capacity of 13,300 pounds can be achieved. The 2022 Silverado also offers hands-free towing for all those tough tows.
Silverado ZR2
The Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 has a horsepower of 420 and receives several exterior improvements like 33-inch off-road MT tires, a unique skid plate package, and a high-approach steel front bumper. The ZR2 pairs the power of a V-8 engine with off-road courage that goes well above the Trail Boss model. A 10-speed transmission with an Electronic Transmission Range Selector comes standard in the ZR2. For durability, clearance, and off-road strength, new steel front, and rear bumpers have been added to the ZR2.
